My name is Stacy Almodovar, founder and creative director of Paraiso Apparel — a Christian fashion brand that creates Scripture-inspired clothing designed with meaning, quality, and intentionality.
I am a follower of Christ, wife, mother, entrepreneur, and creative passionate about building a brand that honors God through fashion. My love for clothing began in childhood while living with my Dominican grandmother, Mami Daysi, who would sew garments for our family using thrifted fabrics. Watching her transform fabric into meaningful pieces shaped the way I view fashion today: clothing is more than something you wear - it can tell a story, carry purpose, and make people feel confident and seen.
I started Paraíso in 2020 while working at the mall, originally selling tennis skirts on Etsy as a way to make extra income. What began as a small side business quickly grew into something much bigger. Through every season of growth, challenges, viral moments, motherhood, and rebuilding, I’ve seen God’s hand guiding the brand.
Today, Paraíso creates elevated Christian clothing inspired by Scripture blending thoughtful design and faith. Every collection is created with intention - from silhouettes and fabrics to the biblical themes woven into each piece. My goal is to create clothing that not only looks beautiful, but points people back to Christ and reminds them that fashion can carry meaning.
Beyond fashion, I also serve in ministry alongside my husband at God’s House of Refuge, where discipleship, faith, and community are central parts of our lives. Everything I create (whether in business, motherhood, or ministry) is rooted in the desire to glorify God and serve people well.
My prayer is that Paraíso continues to please and honor God while creating pieces people feel excited, confident, and inspired to wear every day.
