Founded by Stacy Almodovar in 2020, Paraíso began as a small Etsy shop selling tennis skirts while Stacy worked at the mall. What started as a simple way to make extra income quickly became something much deeper: a God-given vision to create meaningful clothing designed with care and intention.
Stacy’s love for fashion started at a young age while living with her Dominican grandmother, Mami Daysi, who would sew garments for family members using thrifted fabrics. Watching clothing be created with creativity and purpose shaped the way she viewed fashion. Clothing was never just about trends or getting dressed. It was about meaning, craftsmanship, and how a garment could make someone feel.
Today, Paraíso exists to create thoughtful clothing that helps people move through everyday life with ease, beauty, and intention.
